The website code does not set cookies or load analytics or advertising trackers. This page lets you save or remove a simple browser preference.
Cookies and localStorage are different
Cookies can be sent with requests to a server. localStorage is a browser facility that lets a website retain small values on your device. The JavaScript on these pages uses localStorage only when you explicitly save a choice below. It does not use that value to identify you or send it to a server.
Both choices below leave analytics and advertising disabled because neither is included in the website code. “Essential only” saves a record of that preference; it does not activate other storage features. If you want no saved preference at all, use “Clear saved choice” instead.

What the controls do not remove
Clearing the saved choice removes only the named localStorage value. It does not delete browser history, cached page files, email you have sent, downloaded notes or clipboard contents. Manage those separately in your browser, device, email application or operating system.
Storage is specific to the browser and site origin you are using. A preference saved on one device will not automatically appear on another. Private browsing and browser settings may prevent persistence; the rest of the site remains usable without it.
Hosting and external services
The absence of cookies in this website code does not mean that no technical information is processed when a page is requested. Hosting infrastructure may handle delivery and security information. External websites you choose to visit apply their own storage policies. See the privacy policy for the distinction between local tools, website requests and email correspondence.
If new storage-based functionality is introduced, its purpose and appropriate controls should be described before it is enabled where consent is required. Saving a preference here does not authorise unspecified future uses.
